I sat for 3 hours and 2 minutes to watch all the ​Avengers assemble together on a movie screen for one last time. When I left the theater, all I could think was how cool it would be to see real-life heroes. Then it hit me harder than the Hulk smashes. I have — my mentor. My mentor's guidance helped save me during a dark time in my life,

and I am beyond grateful for hits help. While in graduate school, I dedicated months to interviewing mentors in Richmond, Va, to showcase their heroism. Thus, the creation of the Hero Project. Like every excellent superhero movie, you're going to meet the hero and hear of extreme survival stories. However, when creating this project there's was a slight twist to the narrative that even I didn't see coming. Enjoy!
